do we really whine a lot?

I read on the newspaper today. We Singaporeans like to whine a lot. We whine about price hikes....abt education system....abt everything under the sky.

Ya I agree cos I also like to whine.

Or should we get into action? Like HongKong .....they riot bcos the govt wants 5% of gst from them(well we are already paying it for so long but HK's standard of living is really quite high compared to us).....or should we write into Straits Times and tell them this.. this.. this.....shdn't be like this. And if you want your article to appear....write "carefully". It will only appear hoh. Nothing more is going to happen. The price is still going to go up for the 6 ERP locations(it will still spread).

SO! what exactly can we really do besides whinning? We whine whine whine then 5 yrs later the opposition party will echoe all these even louder.....BUT we will still give the votes to elites who are chosen by our super education system whose certs will make u "WOW". Then you look at your own one at home then u think :" hmmm....I think he is really good. I will give him my vote."

Do these people really represent you? Maybe yes. They went thr the same system as you just that you appeared more stupid than them ok. Thats y they will come out with policies(you cant say you dun like the policy hoh) to help you. In return you have to part with your money to pay them(your income tax my dear). SO the small world here went on and on like this.....

As we continue to whine, life goes on. Thats the way of life here. We think too much of the consequences. If we really went on strike.....who will dare to come and invest? if we realli riot....i might lose my job......if if if if.......too many ifs.........so in the end we will take the easy way out.

We will pay the additional 50cents of ERP....we will pay the additional chg of the taxis....we will drink the 10cents more coffee....and more and more and more.....

actually it seems not a lot too.
