THe DAY I am released
Today I finally escaped from NTU's clutches.
Seriously I love my student life in NTU. I love the environment. The people that I have known in there. The humorous lecturers ........and lastly the FOOD haha......The onli thing I hate is EXAMS.
I have not feared examinations so much since I grad from JC. Before exams I study day and night, the thought of failing is realli scary. i have to push myself to wake up earli and sleep late so that I wont be guilty(even though I dunno what i studying sometimes). Some people from business courses or some other courses or NUS often ask mi....if you study y will u fail? when I tell them I am really scared of "ta baoing" (take away). They always give me that weird look seems like I am some low IQ kid. So how? Well, if people think you are stupid doesn't mean you are alright. My course train me to use more brain cells while their course train them to use dog eyes see people.....oops
Of course, people who know ourselves best are my schoolmates. We went through thick and thin alright.........When the school restricts us to take a certain number of subjects.......we went to the professor to appeal.....trying our best to talk some sense to our professor.........we study together into deep nights....calling each other to disturb haha.....trying to "check" each other quiz paper during quiz...........sleeping in lecture halls....chatting non stop.....whining......gossiping abt others as if we are the perfect people in the school.......driving to different places to eat.........and many many silly things we done together.
Now, we are on our way to a new tomorrow......i guess most of us wont be engineers.....though we are 2nd Class citizens like what Prof Li Bing says(1st class citizen is architect)......seems most of us are still not willing to work 6 days a week under the sunny sun or rainy rain.........
what about the lecturers?......CEE has the most patient professors in the whole campus.....you know y? bcos whenever the resuts are released there will be long qeue outside their rooms.....some gals will come out crying.....before the new system(GPA), much more people failed. thus they will appeal to take 9 or 10 subj inorder to grad on time. thats how their patience comes. They have to encourage us too. Telling how good our prospects are comparing to other schools when everyone else is telling us ours is a sunset industry. Such a great school of professors yeah if they stop failing us la .....haha
